RIP Studio is a one-person shop based in New York's Mohawk Valley. It started as a web design agency and has become something closer to a running portfolio: some projects here are for real small-business clients, most are just things worth building and sharing. Either way, nothing on this site is a mockup — everything linked is actually live.
Behind the name is Michael Kennedy, who's spent 15 years as a UX researcher (mikewkennedy.com) studying why people actually trust, use, or abandon a website. That background is what separates this from a template shop: every site here is built from research instincts, not just good taste.
